Chapter 55 The Fight Has Ended

Raydon aimed the crossbow at the Region Boss, and fired. Region Boss saw the arrow coming its way and swung the ax angrily to deflect it.

But then something unexpected happened, which the monster had not anticipated. Without forethought, in its fury, it destroyed the arrow with all its might, but as a result, it was unprepared for and helpless against the subsequent attack that was coming after the arrow.

The hook was heading straight for the region boss\'s head, and the monster had nothing to do about it. Right after Raydon released the arrow, he used the Hook skill. Region Boss, however, was too preoccupied with the arrow to notice it.

Hook quickly circled the Region Boss\' head, who had nothing to fend for. Meanwhile, Raydon, who was still running, began to use the hook\'s pulling ability to pull himself toward the monster.

\'\'Fire Kick. \'\'

His right leg began to catch fire, and soon the entire leg was engulfed in flames. With all the momentum he had built up, Raydon leaped in the direction of Region Boss and delivered a crushing head kick.

*BAMM*

Flames suddenly burst from the monster\'s head when Region Boss\' head and Raydon\'s flaming leg collided.

The monster was knocked backward and fell to its back as a result of the blow. After the kick, Raydon hit the ground and was about to strike again when he heard the system message.

[Lv.10 Frost Troll(E-Rank) has been killed.]

[Your team gained 100 points.]

[You gained 1000 experience points.]

[Congratulations; at the conclusion of the match, you will receive your reward for killing the region boss.]

Raydon was dissatisfied, saying, "What the heck, why is it so weak? \'\'

He approached the Frost Troll and stared at the monster\'s half-molten head, which was still steaming.

\'\'Anti element, huh?\'\' Raydon deduced. Being an ice type, the Frost Troll was probably unable to withstand Raydon\'s flame-type skill. Additionally, his kick should not be underestimated even if there were no flames, and the flames served as the finishing touch.

He took the short sword out of his dimensional storage, and started cutting the Frost Troll apart.

\'\'Such a waste. I\'d like to take the whole body with me,\'\' he said as he removed the pieces one by one. Even after dismantling because the body is too big, what he could take was quite little. Raydon took what he could after the dismantling was completed in a matter of minutes.

He placed the short sword in his dimensional storage and looked around. He wasn\'t just looking around at random, trying to remember where Helen had died. It didn\'t take long for him to find the location. On the ground where she died, there were the arrows he had used to kill her.

Along with that, there was a black sphere about the size of a fist and a metal knee pad. Raydon held up this sapphire that was filled with swirling black smoke and exclaimed joyously.

\'\'Hahaha, isn\'t this Storage Expansion Orb??? \'\'

Raydon was thrilled with what he found. This was an extremely valuable item. Although he was still unsure of the market price, he could assume that it was higher than the prices of all the items he had previously seen because, despite searching throughout the item market, he was unable to find one. Even if he had known the price, he had no desire to sell it.

For an item holder, loots from matches were very important, and the simplest way to maximize earnings was to have the largest dimensional storage possible. Every item discovered in matches could be exchanged for gold. Using Raydon as an example, he sold the stone he discovered during the previous match for 1 gold.

Raydon used this item right away to make his dimensional storage 3x3, as he had no plans to sell it. Then he took the knee pads, which had black leather binding spindles and a pale horse image embroidered on them in metallic color. These were the knee pads Helen wore.

[Knee Pads]

-Cooldown: 40 minutes.

\'\'Wow, I must be lucky, right? I came across this when I was considering replacing my pauldron. Nice. \'\' Raydon said, pleased.

Then he looked at the system panel.

\'There is still roughly an hour to go. I wonder where the enemy team is. \' Raydon pondered.

He was certain to win the match, in this short time the enemy team did not seem to have the ability to close the point gap, but still, he wouldn\'t be satisfied with only winning the match. His first target for the match was the region boss, and he was considering going after the enemy team, who was his second target. After all, he would gain a ton of loot from them in the form of experience points and items.

Raydon re-summoned the Blood Bat and went in search of the opposing team.

[Lv.1 White Wolf(F-Rank) has been killed.]

[Your team gained 1 point.]

[You gained 10 experiences.]

Raydon drew the short sword he had stabbed into the wolf\'s stomach and gave the remaining time on the system a quick glance.

[Time remaining until the end of the match: 0004:15]

\'\'Damn, how come the region is so big? \'\' He yelled angrily, waving his sword and wiping away the blood.

Time was up before Raydon could find anyone from the enemy team.
