Godlike Player in a Game-Like World

Chapter 92 Ugly

There were now ten dead bodies on the ground around the vehicle, and a red bat was peering inside through the vehicle\'s window.

\'\'What are they doing? All of their men have died. Don\'t they think about coming out and doing something about it? \'\' When he looked inside and saw the individuals sitting motionless and acting as if nothing had happened, he was rendered speechless.

Raydon eventually lost patience and fired an arrow at the van\'s window. Only a crack was left when the arrow struck the reinforced glass and fell to the ground.

\'\'Oh, the window cracked.\'\' The burly man turned his head, saw the glass behind him crack, and returned his gaze to the black-clad person.

\'\'I think I should go check.\'\' He waited for an answer again after saying that, but when he didn\'t get one, he finally got up and went outside.

Coming out of the vehicle\'s back door, he first noticed his men lying on the ground, each with an arrow in their heads, and said as he observed his surroundings.

\'\'I knew these idiots couldn\'t even do a job. \'\'

*Put*

He was looking around when an arrow pierced his head through the pre-existing bullet wound on his forehead.

He stood motionless for a moment, then squinted his eyes at the arrow on his forehead and pulled it out with his hand.

\'\'Who the hell threw this? \'\' Furiously, he yelled into the night. The burly man\'s usual emotionless expression must have been triggered by memories of the scar on his forehead, as he appeared very angry this time.

\'Oh? Isn\'t this the same guy I killed in the slums? \' Raydon pondered as he looked at the burly man, who was still standing despite being shot in the head with an arrow. The fact that he was still alive didn\'t surprise him. Because item holders possessed a wide range of abilities, the thought of raising the dead did not completely consume his imagination.

He was just thinking about another question. \'\'Where is his brain? \'\'

Raydon considered. It surprised him to see one in person even though he had heard of people in his previous world surviving without any issues despite losing even 80% of their brains.

\'\'Anyway, the other black-clad thing doesn\'t seem to want to go out, so I\'ll deal with this one first. \'\'  Raydon stowed his crossbow in his dimensional storage, grabbed his shortsword, and approached the burly man.

\'\'You??!! \'\' The burly man\'s face slumped as he saw Raydon approaching, and he said through gritted teeth.

Raydon grinned and said, "Heh, we met again. \'\'

\'\'You… You…\'\'

The burly man\'s expression turned even angrier when he saw Raydon\'s smile, but what he said after that caused Raydon to falter.

\'\'Who are you? Why do I get angry just looking at your ugly face? \'\'

\'\'Ugly? Who is ugly? You freak… Go and look in the mirror and see your own face, which looks like an ugly dried onion. \'\' Raydon, too, became enraged and snapped.

The burly man\'s lack of memory was understandable; after all, he died with a large hole in the middle of his head, but Raydon was insulted in the worst way by this ugly thing calling him ugly.

\'\'Shit, this fucktard is ruining my mood. Despite having a low charisma stat, I don\'t look ugly at all. I can even be considered attractive, you jerk,\'\' Raydon grumbled.

He actually had nothing that made him appear attractive, aside from his confident-looking blackish-dark brown eyes. But even so, would that make him look ugly? He should have been considered better than average.

\'Shit, I want to increase my charisma stat. \' He frantically pondered. He obviously didn\'t give a damn about his appearance, but hearing the monster in front of him call him ugly made him feel self-conscious.

"Why am I arguing with a brainless monster anyway? \'\' Raydon took a deep breath to calm himself before charging him with the sword in his hand.

\'\'I hope you give me some good experience points, ugly. \'\'

\'\'Raaargghhh YOU ARE UGLYY… \'\'

The burly man yelled and slammed his fist into the approaching sword, appearing to be completely out of his mind.

*Clank*

The sword sounded like it had struck iron, then rebounded.

\'\'What the hell are you made of? \'\'

Raydon observed that the sword strike had only left a small cut on his hand.

\'\'Ugly. \'\' He responded and started swinging his slow but powerful fists at Raydon one after the other.

\'\'Ugly. \'\'

\'\'Ugly. \'\'

\'\'Hodor. \'\'

\'\'Ugly. \'\'

He didn\'t forget to say that magical word before each attack.

\'\'This isn\'t funny anymore,\'\' Raydon said as he dodged.

During this time, he repeatedly slashed at him with his sword. He tried to hit him where he was vulnerable, but even his eyes seemed modified.

\'Does he not have a weak spot? In this manner, the fight will continue for a very long time. \' Raydon thought. His current stamina would allow him to continue fighting for hours, but he didn\'t have that much time. His attacks were ineffective because his strength stat was insufficient, and he lacked the attack-type skill to deal more damage.

He looked around and saw something cylindrical standing next to one of the dead men as he continued to avoid incoming attacks.

\'\'This might do the job.\'\'

Raydon easily avoided another blow, quickly picking up the grenade from the ground and pulling the pin.

He did not avoid the next punch that was thrown at him, but this time he opened his palm and blocked it by saying,

\'\'Reflect. \'\'

As his fist impacted Raydon\'s palm, he felt a powerful resistance, and as the blow reflected, the burly man\'s arm was thrown back.

When Raydon saw that the burly man\'s posture was completely distorted for either attack or defense, he seized the opportunity to throw the grenade he was holding perpendicularly into the opening in the burly man\'s head.

Raydon then gave the hovering grenade a rotary kick and thrust it right into the hole in the burly man\'s head.
