Fire Mage

Chapter 340: Memories

Chapter 340: Memories

Charles then walked on the street road, made a few turns, and soon moved towards a two-meter tall wall.

??

At that moment, two suns hung up in the sky, illuminated the land in bright yellow light, and increased the surrounding temperature to an abnormal level.

If not for his body being enchanted by the fire-elemental power, blisters might\'ve appeared all over his body.

Without minding the heat, Charles continued to walk and soon arrived in front of the wall.

His next destination was to go to a Red Human merchant\'s house at the edge of this city and steal his identity.

From Qoz\'s memories, he learned that this guy knew much about the outside world than any other Red Human in this city.

Moreover, this guy was not a slave!

He was a perfect target for Charles.

Although he met many Night Goblins along the way, none attacked him in the open.

But all of them showed hostile expression towards him!

\'Red Humans, huh.\' He stared at the rocky wall for a moment and soon acted.

He squatted a little, jumped up, crossed the wall, and directly landed on the other side.

Then, he released his wisdom power and started searching for the target in the Red Human area.

A few seconds later, he curled his lips upward and started walking in a particular direction.

Along the way, he noticed that the Red Humans\' houses were completely different from the Night Goblins\' ones and became surprised a little.

Unlike the small huts, the houses in the Red Humans\' area were filled with Igloo-type ones.

But instead of ices, these houses seemed to be made of hot embers.

\'Wow, these Red Humans really are immune to fire.\' Charles nodded inwardly and soon arrived in front of a lone house at the edge of the Miners\' Den city.

The city was actually located at the Twilight Land plateau\'s edge, and this house was just a few meters away from the cliff.

Below the cliff were filled with volcanic mountains and Lava Rivers and beyond that was an endless ocean filled with molten lava.

Charles glanced at the lava ocean and then turned his gaze towards the Igloo-type house.

"Is there anyone home?" He asked in the Scars Language.

"Who is it?" A male voice came from the inside.

Instead of replying, Charles looked around and soon confirmed that no one was in the surrounding areas.

Then, he cast [False Blink] spell, disappeared from there, and reappeared inside the house.

The house interior was similar to that of the small hut and looked simpler.

Charles saw some luxurious furniture made of some rare metal, strange crystals, and even books appeared inside.

At this moment, a Red Human cautiously walked near the metallic door, opened it a little, and peeked outside.

He had short carmine hair, light coral eyes, red skin, a round face, a little fat body with a small belly, and appeared 175 cm high. He wore a handmade fiber dress, few bangles made of precious stones, earrings, and even held a short sword in his hand.

Once he noticed that no one was outside, he closed the metal door, turned around, and soon froze.

"Too slow." Charles watched him amusingly and cast [Burning Thoughts] on the Red Human.

He soon walked near the Red Human, raised his hand, and knocked him out.

After that, he cast [Fire Seed] spell on him and started erasing his memories.

\'Tebs… He is a Rank-3 Red Human. He came from a particular tribe situated in the other corner of the Twilight Land. He is a wealthy merchant and has some links with many Rank-4 Warlords. He went to many dangerous places in the Twilight Land and knew more about the outside world.\'

\'Like the Twilight Land, there are many large and dangerous territories out there. Each of these lands was as large as this one. Fiery Desert, Domain of Lava Giants, Crimson Land, City of Red, Ember Castle, Fire Dragons\' Lair and so on.\'

\'But unlike this Twilight Land, only some particular races live in those lands. For example, the Fiery Desert is filled with Magma Fiends, Magmins, and Scarlet Medusas. The Domain of Lava Giants is filled with Lava Giants, Lava Orcs, and few other inferior slave races. The same goes for the other lands…\' Charles nodded inwardly and continued to read his memories.

\'The next thing is about how the Fire Elemental beings rank up… Hmm? There are no Class Gems in this World? It seems this Red Human doesn\'t know much about the Class Gem pathway. All the creatures in this Fire Elemental Plane follow the path of bloodlines or something called Noble Blood hierarchy.\'

\'That was the main reason the Magma Fiends from the Fiery Desert exiled the Elemental Demon Garath… Each Race has unique bloodline skills, and if someone didn\'t have any of the skills or possess out-of-ordinary skills, they would be executed, exiled, or thrown into prison. The Red Humans are the same. Even though they aren\'t at the top of the food chain, they also follow this Noble Blood Hierarchy system and select their future leader by conducting some royal life-and-death battle…\'

\'Hmm, here it is… The City of Red is the place where most of the Red Humans live. As for the Red Humans in the Twilight Land, most of them were exiled to this land. Royal Red Humans are the ones who could hold full authority over the Red Human race. They have the power to even shackle them from casting elemental abilities. Other than Red Humans, two other races remain in the City of Red, but they are minority…\'

As his [Fire Seed] spell sent out the information to his Inner World, Charles read all about the Red Humans.

After an hour, he completely erased his memories and tossed him on the rocky floor.

After that, he squatted down, unsheathed the dagger, made a small wound on his finger, and let it drop on his palm.

Then, he recited a short chant, absorbed the droplet, and activated the shape-shift skill.

A second later, a strange character imprint appeared in his mind.

After he became a Cloner, Charles could create twenty-plus new identities now!

Once he got the character imprint, he swiftly moved the dagger, plunged into his throat, and killed him on the spot.

After that, he tossed a reddish ball of flame and burned his body.

Then, he linked his mind with the character imprint and started to shape-shift.

His actual height shortened a little, and his face changed into round one, and so on.

A few seconds later, he completely changed into Tebs!

He then changed his cloth into a fiber one and walked out of the Igloo house.
